today the studio was utilized by a group of young ladies from the teen media program at the cambridge community art center. the girls came to complete the final step from their "recognized girls" project.  each girl constructed a photograph which recreated a scene from a painting depicting a woman in a traditional role.  their recreations posed the woman in each painting as how she would be seen today, using themselves as the models.
